Job Description

How about you?

At Listeners we develop the music experiences, think, build and ship new features to millions of users. The subjects tackled by the team are as broad as enabling users to be one tap away from the perfect tracklist and creating innovative experiences to find what to play and engage more with the content on Deezer.

You feel capable of developing a team, caring and supporting them in their growth while driving them to achieve our ambitous objectives? You enjoy working closely with product teams and other managers to build the best features possible and you understand how to build high quality iOS application. Then we want to hear from you!

What you will do:

• Inspire, drive and develop a motivated team of iOS engineers
• Create team cohesion and promote collaboration
• Monitor your team workload, ensuring that deadlines are met
• Organize some team's rituals and ensure processes are followed
• Working closely with the senior and expert iOS engineers,  provide technical direction and improvements of codebase shared across all Deezer apps
• Contribute, with your Engineering Manager, to defining and following the tech vision and to the Community of Practice to improve Deezer iOS stack

Qualifications

This role is excellent for a person with:

• At least 5 years of experience in building iOS applications, with significant experience using Swift & SwiftUI
• A first experience in people management (internship, apprenticeship, mentor-ship, team manager)

All the more, if you have : 

• Experience in building and maintaining large and complex code bases iOS applications in production
• A mindset focused on code performance & quality
• Be open to candid feedback, new perspectives, continuous learning, and self-development
• Able to express ideas in written and spoken English
