Job Description

What you will do:

• Manage selected editorial projects (categories & seasonal events)
• Assist on song research for playlists and creating playlists (content curation)
• Content programming (homepage, channels, highlights)
• Research pictures and create playlist cover requests (briefing of designers)
• Correspond with labels, distributors, artists and managements
• Maintenance of artist profiles on Deezer (cleaning discographies, updating pictures, biographies etc.)
• Assist on CRM-planning (push notifications, e-mails, in-app notifications)
• Copywriting of small promo texts
• Assist on preparation, execution and reporting of artist marketing campaigns
• Assist on coordination/execution of artist content productions and events including artist care
• Creation, posting and reporting of music driven Social Media content on a regular basis
• Support the local editorial and artist relations team in day-to-day operations
• Work closely with global teams from Content, Artist Relations and Marketing

Qualifications

This role is excellent for a person with:

• Fluent in both German and English
• You have just finished your studies of media management, communication, journalism, cultural studies or anything that is music related and you are eager to make your first steps in the music industry
• Experience in the music industry, media, online business, marketing and / or project management is a bonus
• You love music and you are music genre-fluid. You also have the knowledge about the current popular music scene (especially from Germany), pop culture in general and you keep track of the latest trends
• You love to develop new ideas and to be creative
• You are an open-minded and communicative team player and you can handle several (smaller) projects at a time
• You work precisely, efficiently and independently
