The team

At Deezer, we think our product is awesome and we want our dear users to make the most out of it! The mission of the Customer & Monetization Startup is to build the journeys & functionalities that will onboard, guide and engage any user, anywhere in our site and apps, at any stage of his life!

The Payment Team is one of the Customer & Monetization Startup teams.

The main mission is to be responsible for enhancing and leveraging the B2C revenue by providing the right payment features to the right person at the right time and maximize our acceptance rates.

 

How about you?

We are looking for a Product Manager in charge of Payment across all our platforms. Your mission will be to ensure that we offer a secure and delightful payment experience in all countries where we operate.

You will work very closely with the engineering team in charge of payment, the payment analysts, the payment partner manager and the payment project manager as well as with the legal, finance and local expert teams spread across the world. You will interact with UX designers, Product marketing managers, Commercial teams, Data analysts and the Product Squad. You will report to the Head of Payment.

This role is excellent for a person with a strong business demeanor who understands the payment landscape, the prepaid business, the funnel optimization and the retention.

 

What you will do:

  • Build the product roadmap along with the team’s stakeholders
  • Ensure we have optimal coverage of payment methods with a seamless  user experience with the Payment Partner Manager and the Payment Operation Manager
  • Understand the diverse legal and finance landscapes and turn them into one simple product
  • Maintain a good balance between optimal user experience and fraud management with the Payment Operation Manager
  • Use customer insights and analytics to validate problems and hypothesis throughout the product development process
  • Work with a highly skilled cross-functional engineering team to design and build product features and best-in-class payment experience
  • Define and analyze metrics that evaluate the success of your journeys

Qualifications

To be successful in this mission, you will need the following:

  • You have 4+ years experience of product management / ownership 
  • As a real Swiss knife you enjoy working the same way with the business side and the tech side
  • Entrepreneurial, creative and analytical spirit
  • Curious mind with an appetite for solving complex issues
  • You are able to structure a tracking plan of data. An experience on Google Analytics is a +
  • You have a results-driven, impact-oriented mindset and you enjoy talking to users and business partners
  • You are a true team player and facilitate collaboration across teams
  • "Falling in love with the problem" should mean something to you
  • English is your business language
  • You are a true music fan  ;)
