As a senior French copywriter for Deezer based on our headquarters in Paris, your goal will be to deliver creative copywriting solutions and guidelines in order to ensure that we speak with an authentic Deezer voice to our consumers in all communications and across all our markets, and more specifically to the French-speaking markets.
Within the Creative Studio team, you will be required to generate innovative ideas, copy and content strategy to elevate the consumer brand experience for products, campaigns and events across all channels, on global and local level.
You will collaborate across Deezer globally with global and other local copywriters to ensure copy aligns with the Deezer Brand voice and in-house guidelines; sometimes following existing creative directives, sometimes writing creative directives. You will establish and maintain Deezer’s copy styleguide for the French market.
You will review and lead copy for the French team within the global Creative studio, providing tactical and strategic direction. You will use exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills to craft taglines and long-form copy while collaborating directly with designers to create seasonal experiences and drive "best practices" across all communication channels. You will create the copy for global campaigns and will work with the French-speaking markets on how to adapt this work and make it relevant locally.
You will also create copy for product, helping bringing the why behind the product and break the barriers between brand and product through strong storytelling.
Finally, you will ensure brand and creative consistency across teams and markets while taking into account local specificities: think global/act local.
5+ years' writing experience in a corporate or agency environment required, preferably as a copywriter for a major brand, e-commerce company or digital design agency
Ad agency experience/experience in marketing department is preferred
Expertise in UX/UI copy
Native French speaker with expert command of the French language (including spelling, grammar, punctuation)
Good command of English (writing/speaking) necessary for all internal communications
Experience writing compelling and creative email, editorial and other online marketing material, as well high-level brand communications, including taglines for global campaigns
Experience with multichannel, 360 degree brand work (video, print, OOH, social platforms, experiential, guerrilla, blog - whole campaigns)
International experience and having worked in a multicultural environment is a real plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and content management systems
Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes
Ability to challenge a brief and elevate the creative standards
