Job Description

Context: 

We are currently looking for a super motivated intern to join our Legal Team !

The team is responsible for providing legal support, advice and risk assessment to all teams. This comprises drafting and negotiation of all contracts relating to Deezer's commercial activities throughout the world and the support and follow up of pre-litigation and litigation cases in that respect. 

What you will do:

Your will actively work with the entire legal team and assist in various legal & commercial issues in support of the company, which includes mainly:

• Follow and assist to the negotiation and drafting of various types of contracts (music licensing, partnerships, podcast production, synchronization, NDA, marketing, hardware integration applications etc.), mainly in English and in French
• Provide legal support to French and international operational teams, (such as  advertising, marketing, business development and tech departments) on intellectual property, consumer, business, and privacy law (GDPR)

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• You are graduated with a Master 2 in intellectual property/new technologies law and already have a prior experience in a law firm or in a legal department in this area
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and French
• You feel comfortable in a challenging and multicultural environment
• You are proactive and have an autonomous work behavior
• You are excited to work within a tech and music-oriented environment
• You are available from this summer for a 6-month internship
