Job Description

Context:

We are currently looking for an intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, which is in charge of elaborating and monitoring the budget, assessing operational projects from a Finance perspective, analyzing Deezer's performance, and accompanying operational teams in their various projects.

This is a 6-month internship from July 2022

What you will do:

You will assist the Senior Financial Analyst in the following areas:

• Monthly closing:

> Assist with month-end financial reports (P&L, accruals, KPI)

> Prepare the data inputs necessary for revenue, royalties and expenses calculations

> Provide ad hoc financial analysis

• P&L follow-up:

> Ensure the correct analytical splits and analyze variations (budget, growth…)

> Provide ad-hoc financial analysis

• Financial modeling:

> Analyze new business opportunities

> Update business plans and provide monthly financial analysis

• Budget/ Reforecast:

> Work on yearly forecasting process

> Update and maintain business plans

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• You are currently in a Master's program, ideally specialized in Finance
• You have excellent written and oral communications skills in French and English
• Excel and Powerpoint have no secret to you
• You are self-motivated and able to work independently
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills and have a problem-solving mindset
