How about you?

We are currently looking for an ambitious User Research Intern to help us uncover and share actionable insights.

The aim of Research at Deezer is to ensure that product, marketing, and strategic decisions are made with the market and user firmly in mind. This means constantly keeping a pulse on both current and future users, around the world. We are inspired by our logged data, but look beyond internal analytics to explain why they are doing what they are doing now, and where we can take them next.

This is a 6-month internship starting in January 2023

What you will do:

In this position you can apply and improve your skills in Research Operations and work with us on exciting topics in a dynamic Tech company. 

  • Learn the UR framework and methods of a digital product company
  • Recruit and handle participants by resorting to our users. Follow-up the recruitment and relationship with recruiting Agencies if not done in-house.
  • Support of ongoing quantitative and qualitative research activities, including  user interviews, co-creation workshops, moderated and unmoderated usability testing and surveys.
  • Support in the analysis phase (surveys, interviews, usability test) on multiple studies with the UR team.
  • Help organise the global UR knowledge to get a solid UR repository
  • Support and facilitate the work of researchers by documenting processes and facilitating the management of research tools.
  • Coordinate rituals and engagement activities from the User research team


What we are looking for:

  • You have knowledge about user experience research, user-centered design and or market research
  • You feel comfortable with applying and increase your experiences in qualitative (quantitative methods would be a plus)
  • Passionately curious, with the ambition and discipline to drive ideas to completion.
  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Psychology, HCI, Design or related.
  • Proficiency in English and French(oral & written) required, German or Portuguese a strong asset
  • You feel comfortable dealing with people you’ve never met before. In case you have to take on an interview by yourself.
  • You have a user-centric mindset, and have good communication skills.
  • You are highly motivated to support user researchers and also actively propose solutions.
  • Experience with one of the following prefered : Stata, SPSS or R.
