Job Description

For this transformative organisation, we need a diverse team of CRM experts all dedicated to design, build and activate new ways to engage our users around our favourite topic - music. The role

As CRM Manager - Engagement, you join a team of CRM experts focusing on building strong engagement at each stage of the user lifecycle. The engagement team works day to day with content, marketing and product teams to translate business needs into customer centric plans. From strategy to planning and activation you drive end-to-end processes to deliver innovative, personalised and automated CRM journeys and campaigns across all channels. The position will report to the Head of CRM - Engagement.

What you will do:

  • Create and implement CRM automation strategies to increase user engagement around the Deezer product and its music content. Own the development of these strategies from end-to-end, including ideation, briefing of creative teams and implementation.  
  • Be data-driven: Develop and implement test and learn strategies to continuously improve journeys and create effective campaigns
  • Monitor, analyze and report on CRM performance metrics, such as customer lifetime and engagement rates, and communicate learnings to the organization
  • Work closely with the Data, User Research and Marketing tools team to create the right customer segments, predictive models and tool-setup to enable the delivery of personalized, customer-centric messaging, as well as efficient tracking of campaign performance 
  • Oversee collaboration & coordination with cross-functional teams within your scope (content, marketing, product...) to ensure stakeholder alignment. 
  • ​​Find new and innovative ways to engage with users, effectively using our growing channel mix


This role is made for you if you are:

  • A true customer enthusiast and data driven marketer, with 5+ years related experience in CRM, ideally subscription-based models 
  • You are an expert on automating CRM comms, paired with a data driven mindset and deep knowledge on measurement & AB testing
  • Deep knowledge of CRM platforms (ideally Braze). Experience with Customer Data Platforms is a plus
  • You’re a real team player who enjoys working within an international team
  • Working proficiency in English
  • Passion for music and understanding of the music industry is a plus
