The Core Applications Startup is responsible for developing and maintaining the core features of all our applications on the main B2C platforms and providing robust technical solutions that empower the creation, by other teams, of great features and excellent user experiences. Our role is also to ensure we deliver a state of the art audio experience to the millions of people enjoying our product every day.

We are looking for a passionate lead web front developer that above all wants to create a qualitative product. You will manage the Core Front team which is responsible for developing and maintaining Deezer's website and web application. In addition, you will also lead the web front community of practice at Deezer, ensuring a good and constructive communication throughout the community, growing their technical knowledge and horizon. 

What you'll do:

• Work closely with the rest of the Core Applications team to provide general solution applicable to all client platforms
• Maintain, with your team a high quality of playback experience on Deezer's website
• Ensure the technical quality of code produced by your team and the community
• Develop and maintain a good and healthy criticism in the web front community
• Develop new and exciting features

Qualifications

What are we looking for:

• 5+ years of web development experience
• Strong knowledge of both Javascript and CSS
• Great at building responsive and user-friendly single-page applications in React, Flow, ES7, Redux, HTML5, CSS, SASS, Jest
• Build tools like Gulp, Babel, npm, Webpack
• Understand how to debug hard problems in HTTP, CORS, XHR
• Willing to get involved in some back-end work with PHP developers
• Proven engineering skills - code versioning, tests, review
• Good knowledge of web UX
• Must be proactive and organized
• Team spirit
