Job Description

How about you?

Reporting to the Head of Engineering – Engagement & Monetization, and working closely with the QA Manager and QA Community, the Lead QA Engagement & Monetization is responsible for all QA subjects on the startup.

The Lead QA participates actively in the definition of the Quarter Planning of the Startup.


What you will do:

  • Master your assigned projects: take complete control over the projects you are responsible for, and think outside the box to anticipate and identify problems as soon as possible
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance for your startup, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices and processes defined internally, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals defined by the QA manager are met
  • Lead and mentor the QA Analysts and the Technical QA Analyst in the startup
  • Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of your startup releases, providing QA services, coordinating QA resources and communicating about the test results and your team achievements with all parties concerned
  • Review, develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
  • Work closely with the teams to define the Quarter Planning of the startup
  • Participate actively at all agile rituals (DSM, Sprint Planning, Demo, Retro …)
  • Be proactive on the bug management, and help to improve the quality of products

  • Great team spirit
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (english / french)
  • Aptitude for abstract thinking
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage junior QA Analysts
  • Strong leadership, communication and management skills
  • You are curious and well organized
  • You like getting completely involved in a project
  • You are comfortable with tablets and smartphones
  • 3+ year experience in mobile application, software or website quality assurance
  • 1+ year experience in managing a small QA team
  • Demonstrated experience in writing test requirements, and test cases
  • Being an ISTQB certified tester (foundation level) is highly recommended
