Job Description

  • Work within Deezer’s editorial guidelines to create and execute the editorial strategy for Pop and R&B. 

  • Develop innovative content concepts that forge a new path in Pop and R&B.

  • Curate for a large number of playlists to provide a wide variety of high quality content aimed at the global audience.

  • Work hand in hand with the local editorial teams to enhance the local experience of Pop and R&B content.

  • Program content across the Deezer product ensuring it is perfectly localised to our audience.

  • Analyse data and track performance indicators of your own work.

  • Work collaboratively with the Artist Marketing team to drive success in local and global campaigns.

  • Work with global teams including Design, Brand, Acquisition, Recommendation, Product Features and Search to improve the overall content experience for your audience.


  • 5+ years experience in the music or media industry - you’re a global Pop and R&B music expert with a deep understanding of its pertinence in popular culture. 

  • Experience in programming music for a streaming platform, TV, radio, or other media will be highly valued.

  • Experience developing and pitching world-class creative concepts within editorial, agency, or branded content fields highly valued.

  • Proven ability in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Must be proficient in English (written and verbal).

  • Able to provide weekly and monthly reporting of activities through thorough data analysis on content performance.
