Partnerships are at the heart of our DNA and are one of the main drivers of our growth: today we are partnering with leading brands like Xbox, Sonos, Orange, BMW, Google Home, T-Mobile, Roku, Fnac or Fitbit.

As a Business Development Director for LATAM, you will be responsible for building strategic relationships with key partners in the region to distribute and promote Deezer and develop new business lines. If you are seeking an opportunity that will allow you to significantly impact our core KPIs and own the growth of this strategic area of our business, you’re in the right place.

 

What you will do: 

  • Actively pursue and close business development deals for Deezer premium services distribution  in the following industries: Telecommunications, Media, Finance, Retail, Cable TV, Mobile Telephony, and e-commerce.
  • Maintain and document sales and deals pipeline with global tools and benchmark against similar deals in other regions.
  • Hands-on business modelling and forecasting revenue per initiative.
  • Manage a B2B partnerships sales budget yearly and growth strategy for the LATAM (region)
  • Work closely with account management, product, project management and channel marketing to ensure B2B partnerships are executed to its maximum potential.

Qualifications

What we are looking for: 
 

  • 10+ years’ experience in business development and sales in  or related to, digital subscription services, content, mobile apps and/or VAS for telecommunications. 
  • Proven track record of signing complex deals with large companies and exceeding business goals
  • Strong negotiation, influencing & communication abilities to influence outcomes externally and internally, even without formal authority
  • Strong understanding of label dynamic and network in Music industry
  • College degree, Master is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both verbal & written. Bilingual or any other languages are a plus
  • Analytical mindset & strategic thinker
  • Strong Financial/Business modeling skills
  • Comfortable working in a digital & tech environment.
  • Experience working internationally and across cultures
  • Ability to travel
