Job Description

How about you ?

We are looking for our next Head of Product handle our PM Partnership team. You will work closely with engineers, designers and product insights teams to define and implement our partnership strategy, product vision and processes. 

What you will do:

Product discovery

• Continuously stay a step ahead, working on future solutions to enable new B2B partnerships and Deezer’s availability on relevant connected devices. 
• Define strategic user research priorities to be sure to tackle the main problems and evolution paths.

Product strategy

• Nurture the Partnerships Product Vision with your Product Managers team, based on the data you gathered (from, users, partners, business teams, your team, data analysis, competitors, user & market research…)
• Turn that into a strategy and a well-thought roadmap for B2B distribution solutions and Hardware integrations: you will make sure that the PMs are building the right features, focusing on the right products, depending on both user centric and business strategy approach
• Integrate the product strategy within the company strategy in order to ensure a consistent Deezer experience across all handled connected devices

Product execution

• Work closely with the Engineering Managers and Delivery team to ensure roadmap feasibility and anticipate the next priorities. 
• Be obsessed by the impact of the features your team ships through A/B testing, behaviour data, etc, generate insights, define and maintain KPIs about your products
• Ensure with your team a process of market monitoring, prospective and continuous search for innovation.

Management & leadership

• Make the Product Managers grow. You help them to become autonomous and impact driven. Assist them during their main ceremonies, have regular 1:1, share your experience, clarify their mission...
• Review and assess: set clear objectives (OKR methodology), monitor the Product Managers performance regularly and review it on a regular basis.

Personal

• Stay on top about Technologies, Music Industry, Product & Hardware  trends…
• Build opinions, justify them, and defend them internally.

Qualifications

About you:

• You're an experienced product manager, with at least 6 years of XP in Product environment
• You have a proven track record in mature tech/product environments
•  A familiarity with Music streaming / Entertainment / Hardware / Connected devices / Partnerships is a plus
• You have great listening and empathy skills
• You're an experienced team manager and capability to make the team’s skills grow, from a Product perspective
• Proficient in French and English
