Job Description

What will you do?

  • Work within Deezer’s editorial guidelines to create and execute the editorial strategy for Brazil.
  • Development of original content series.
  • Curate for a relevant number of playlists focus on Brazilian Funk, Rap, EDM & Dance, Rock and Kids, as well as work with curator partners to provide a wide variety of high quality content aimed at the local audience.
  • Manage all recordings at Deezer Studio for their genre’s artists, including audio spots, interviews, and any other kind of content, ensuring reciprocal artist promotion.
  • Negotiate partnerships with content providers, artist managers, media groups, radio stations and independent producers.
  • Program content across the Deezer product ensuring it is perfectly localised to your audience
  • Hold responsibility for tracking KPIs and managing project plan and budget.
  • Assess and track the whole playlist pool optimisations and benchmarking to ensure coverage and great content offer to users.
  • Coordinate editorial processes in content programming and liaise with promotion within Deezer.


What we are looking for?

  • Excellent English and Portuguese communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
  • 5+ years of work experience in different music segments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
  • The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a team of super talented people.
  • Knowledge on leading project management techniques, tools, and trends.
  • Experience/Affinity in Music and Entertainment business.
  • Excellent understanding of online user behaviour, including mobile and social networking.
  • A sense of humour and a positive attitude.
  • Proactive, team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good team spirit, critical thinking & results driven.
  • Interest and knowledge in new technologies.
